How to Import CSV File Into Reach
You may import contacts into the Reach app using a CSV file. Here's how:
Step 1 - Prepare the CSV file:
You may use Excel or Apple Numbers, or any other software which can export a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file. In the app, simply create a table with First Name, Last Name, and Phone column in the first row. Then add the data of the phone numbers.
The only mandatory field in the CSV column names is “Phone”. The rest are optional. But it’s recommended to have at least one more field: “First Name”. Also, the first row should be the column names and then the data should start from row #2
Here’s how the CSV file should look like:
First,Last,Phone
John,Smith,555-555-5555
Jane,Doe,555-555-5555
Step 2 - Import the CSV:
In the Groups tab in the Reach app, create a new group, give it a name, and then tap the "CSV" button in the bottom left corner of the screen. Then you will be able to tap the "Import CSV" button (directly from your phone or by uploading the CSV file to our website by using the "Import CSV from PC/Mac"
