Add Contacts to a Group From Your Contacts
Overview
The purpose of a group is to identify the specific people who will receive a text or email. While the size of the group is unlimited it is generally more practical to keep the group size under 50 and utilize multiple groups.
1. Ensure you are in the Group
To start adding contacts, it is necessary to create a new group or go to an already existing one. You can read instructions on how to Create a New Group.
2. Tap "+" Button at Top-right Corner
Locate the "+" button, which is at the top-right corner of the screen. Tap on it to add a contact.
3. Allow Access to Your Contacts
After clicking the "+" button, a permissions popup could appear (Permissions for Contacts are required if they have not been previously granted). If you tap the “Allow” button, the app will display your contacts.
4. Select Contacts and tap Add button
You can add one, multiple, or all contacts from your contact list to a group. To select a contact, simply tap on the row corresponding to that contact. A checkmark will appear on the right side, indicating that the contact has been selected for addition. Feel free to scroll through your contact list and select as many contacts as you need.
After marking all the desired contacts with checkmarks, press the "Add" button located in the upper right corner of the screen.
5. Settings of Selected Contacts
For Adding a Single Contact: If you add a single contact, a page will open allowing you to edit the details of the selected contact. Here, you can change the contact's first and last names, set a default method for sending messages, and specify a phone number or email address for message delivery. For Adding Multiple Contacts: If you add several contacts, a different page will appear where you can set preferences for all the contacts you're adding. It includes selecting a default communication method and choosing whether to use phone numbers or email addresses for sending messages. 6. Finalize the Addition
To complete the addition, you need to press the "Done" button in the upper right corner. After that, the added contacts will be displayed in the group.
You can repeat the single or multiple contacts add process as many times as need to complete your group.
