Android - How to Resolve Duplicate Message Issue
Overview
Sometimes, the contacts you send messages to may receive duplicate messages. Reach provides an option that can help fix the problem. This issue can only occur when using manual sending mode.
1. Access Settings
Navigate to the Settings through the drawer menu.
2. Access Advanced Settings
Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page.
Tap the button "Show Advanced Settings”.
3. Modify SMS/MMS Settings
In the "Advanced Settings" section, locate the "SMS/MMS Settings".
You will find two checkboxes: Disable MMS Body (SMS messages) and Disable SMS Body (MMS messages).
Enable the Appropriate Option Based on Your Use Case:
- If you are sending messages without attachments and your contacts are receiving duplicate messages, enable the option: Disable MMS Body (SMS messages).
- If you are sending messages with attachments and your contacts are receiving duplicate messages, enable the option: Disable SMS Body (MMS messages).
