Android - Compose New Message
Overview
The Reach app is designed for quickly and easily sending messages to multiple recipients. Reach allows you to personalize your messages, ensuring that your communication stands out and doesn't get lost in the clutter of other messages people receive.
1. Navigate to Messages
Open the drawer menu.
Select "All Messages".
2. Look for a button to create a new message
In the top right corner, tap on the pencil icon. This action will open the message composition page.
You can also create a message by tapping the pencil icon at the bottom right.
3. Compose Your Message
Here, you can craft your message with the following elements:
Body of the Message. Here you convey your primary message. You can type directly into the text box provided.
You can use templates to make your message more personal, especially when sending it to a group. To add a template, Tap on the "Template Fields" button and select the desired option from the dropdown menu.
For example, by inserting the First Name template, you can automatically personalize each message with the recipient's first name. This ensures that each contact receives a customized message, yet without being aware of other recipients.
As you type your message, the character count will be displayed at the bottom.
Subject (for Email only). If you're composing an email, there is a field with the hint "Subject". In our example, the subject is "Meeting Info".
Attachments: You have the option to attach images or files to your message. Tap the "Attachment" button to add images or files to your message. Attached items will be displayed as thumbnails above the Subject field.
To remove an attachment, click the red trash can icon on the thumbnail.
4. Delete Draft
If you want to delete the message draft, tap the "Remove Message" button.
5. Send the Message
To send the message, tap the icon in the top right corner.
Alternatively, press the "Choose Groups" button to Send the message and select recipient groups before sending the message.
